Did he cover COG? I plugged the calcs into the wing calculator and got about 7.5 in from the leading edge. Not sure that is right. My nose dives into the ground when I left of the elevator, I'm thinking I need some reflex to get it flying level

Looking at making one and doubling the size of the build my issue is to figure out the foam you have used it’s not readily available here in New Zealand I can find a white foam that is similar but I have no idea where to source the pink foam can you give us any more info on this foam to help me to find something equivalent Cheers

Is there any calculating of impedance for this build or is it generally good for hobby quality?

The pulling out of the loop "a little funny" was probably due to the fact that, without tip fins, your plane was essentially operating as a true Flying Wing. The old Northrop XB-35s and YB-49s had a tendency to "hunt" about the yaw axis after turns, especially in turbulent conditions. Your plane was probably experiencing the same effect. Otherwise, it looked like it was flying beautifully!

Uh, your antenna length should of been 50.5mm or 5.05cm in length. Either you typed in the wrong number or the calculator is wrong. You find out the size by dividing 300/5.945= 50.5mm 300 is the speed of light. Also, it’s hard to make transmitting antennas because you need to know the SWR of that antenna. Usually antennas are slightly shorter than their theoretical size because the type of metal will effect how electrically long the antenna is.

I love it! I'm waiting for mine. I need something that can slow down. I have a Flying Foam, Joker 36 (company no longer exists) but it comes in for landing like a meteorite and there's no flying it if I've had my coffee.

You don't want to use a 1.2ghz system with 2.4 because of harmonics. Unless you have filters installed

Nice plane. You mentioned that it is heavy ...any reason why you have not tried KFM3 that i have read has more lift?

Nice tutorial, have you ever try to have a KFM3 and compar it to you KFM2? I have read that it has more lift power.

Sir I live in India so that's why I don't have that much availability of Electronics so I can only use 2212 (1400kv,2200kv) bldc motor prop and battery are not my issues but i want a small wing 30" i want the same stability and power(i want stable plane cause i dont have big area to fly around) suggest me which motor?

Did you use the same antennas on all tested systems? It that case your test is faulty

900MHz is only to be used in low populated areas as a lot of remote things such as gate keys or car keys work on this range, hence why being in the city whilst testing this is the worst scenario for that band. Great band though for long range fpv in remote locations though
